Entertainer, Laura Bell Bundy
Louis first met Laura Bell Bundy in 2009 through his wife Liora. He worked on her Signature Pendant as she prepared to release "Achin' & Shakin', which she then used as the model for a stage prop that brought her from the ceiling to the stage during the 2009 American Country Music Awards. Farkovitz made the LBB Guitar for Ms. Bundy in 2010, which she has allowed our Artist's Representative Celeste LaReau, to display along with the rest of our Personal Collection in Nashville, Tennessee.

A Charitable Heart: 24-Hour Two Step with Laura Bell Bundy

This honey colored Telecaster depicts white brass replicas of the LBB gold and diamond pendant I made for my sister-in-law Laura Bell Bundy, depicted in this collage.

As a throw back to her single, "Giddy On Up" released in 2009, I created a facsimile of Laura Bell on a bucking bronco, inside of the stylized horseshoe. The image was fashioned after her logo, as it appeared on her album cover for her CD, "Achin' & Shakin", also released in 2009.

Laura Bell is wearing the pendant on the cover of Billboard Magazine, prompting a discussion about "What is Country?" as so many artists have entered the genre. But Laura Bell's Broadway and dance roots cross over for some amazing steps, and an interesting fusion between theater and country music's traditional roots.
