Inspired by a casual t-shirt purchase in Union Square Park in Manhattan, New York, Farkovitz was enchanted by the imagery of this Russian tale of impossible love. The representation in this guitar is a multi-layered treatment in nickel silver, of a foundation, sea creatures, the Farkovitz Lip, and the embrace of the octopus and his love. The custom control knobs are set with moonstones, a semi-precious stone that perfectly accent the sea-foam green finish of the guitar.
